Project Details

A dual-branded Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites by Hilton, CLARK / BARNES is providing architecture services for this exciting project in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The hotel comprises 170 keys, including 90 Hilton Garden Inn hotel suites and 80 Homewood long-term stay suites with built-in kitchenettes. A grand entrance leads to a two-story guest lounge with a double-height fireplace, lobby, and an open staircase with a vertical living wall garden. The second level boasts a large rooftop outdoor patio with trees and a water feature, providing a green oasis for guests to unwind.

The Sundowner Hotel is underscored by innovation, sustainability, and wellbeing. Vertical growing plant gardens contribute to the temperature control function of their interior environment to cool the air in the warmer months and add insulation during winter. CLARK / BARNES specified the used of NewBrickTM in the design, a new innovative brick that provides a lightweight, insulated, energy-efficient, impact-resistant, and easy-to-install wall with the same richness of a traditional brick appearance.
