CLARK / BARNES delivered the architectural design and master planning of this multifamily project located in Lynnwood’s Urban Center Zone. Incorporating apartment buildings of varied sizes and geometries, this design combined traditional architectural elements with modern materials and construction.
The “Urban Block” configuration for the eight-acre site maximizes dwelling unit density, while optimizing open space to maintain a pedestrian scale and create a vibrant community. This concept is reinforced through defined edges and courtyards, interconnected open spaces and pedestrian linkages. Through-building lobbies and covered entries strengthen the connections throughout the large site, while a two-story recreation and leasing building is the development’s focal point, providing generous indoor and outdoor amenities including a pool, fitness center, and large roof deck.
